Abhyaz: Building Businesses and People, Together

Why I Started Abhyaz

When I think about why Abhyaz exists, it comes down to one belief I have carried for years:

Technology and empowerment should not be separate conversations

Abhyaz began as a women-led cooperative and social entrepreneurship initiative under MTAB Technology Center Pvt Ltd. At its core, we work as an Authorized Zoho Partner, helping businesses streamline operations, automate workflows, improve visibility, and scale using the Zoho ecosystem.

But there is another part of Abhyaz that is equally important to me.

We create opportunities for people to learn, contribute, and build practical professional experience.

Our remote internship and learning programs have grown alongside our technology services, giving learners and early-career professionals opportunities to work on real projects, collaborate with teams, and develop skills in a professional environment.

For me, these two sides of Abhyaz are not separate.

Every implementation, every process we improve, and every business challenge we work on can also become an opportunity to build capability.

That is what I wanted Abhyaz to be.

A place where business transformation and people development can happen together.

My Mission and Vision for Abhyaz

My mission for Abhyaz is simple:

To help organizations use technology, processes, and automation more effectively while creating meaningful opportunities for people to develop future-ready skills through practical experience.

My vision is to build a globally trusted Zoho partner known not only for technical capability and operational excellence, but also for the way we create opportunities and contribute to a more inclusive future of work.

I believe commercial sustainability and social impact do not have to compete with each other.

They can strengthen each other.

What Makes Abhyaz Different

We Are a Women-Led Cooperative

Abhyaz was built with women’s participation, skill development, financial independence, and inclusive leadership at the heart of the model.

But being women-led is not simply about who works here.

It is about creating an environment where people can build meaningful careers, take responsibility, develop expertise, and contribute to something larger than themselves.

We bring experienced professionals and emerging talent together to serve businesses across different industries and geographies.

We Are a Social Entrepreneurship Initiative

I don't see social impact as something that should sit alongside the business.

It should be embedded in the way the business operates.

At Abhyaz, our client engagements create opportunities to learn new technologies, understand different industries, solve real operational problems, and develop professional capabilities.

Our internship and learning programs then build on that practical environment.

This creates a cycle:

Real business problems → Real projects → Practical learning → Stronger capabilities → Greater business value

That cycle is central to what we are building.

What We Offer

Our work with businesses is primarily focused on helping them make better use of technology and improve the way they operate.

1 . Zoho Consulting and Implementation

We begin with the business problem, not the software.

We study existing processes, identify gaps, understand operational requirements, and then design an appropriate Zoho environment.

Our work can span implementation, configuration, customization, data migration, integrations, automation, and go-live support across applications such as Zoho CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Projects, Desk, and Zoho One.

The objective is not simply to put software in place.

It is to build a system that works for the organization.

2 . Zoho Administration

Once a system is implemented, it needs continuous attention.

User management, data quality, workflow changes, configuration updates, access controls, and system monitoring all become part of day-to-day operations.

Our administration services help businesses manage these requirements without having to build an entire in-house team around their Zoho environment.

3 . Zoho Support and Maintenance

Implementation is not the end of the relationship.

Businesses evolve. Processes change. Teams grow. New requirements emerge.

We continue supporting organizations after go-live by resolving issues, improving workflows, optimizing systems, and helping them adapt their Zoho environment as their needs change.

I have always wanted Abhyaz to be viewed as a long-term technology partner rather than a one-time implementation vendor.

4 . Customization, Integration and Automation

One of the biggest opportunities technology creates is the ability to remove repetitive manual work.

We help businesses connect systems, automate workflows, streamline approvals, and reduce unnecessary operational effort.

In several projects, automation has significantly reduced manual workload.

For me, these improvements matter because automation is not just about saving time.

It gives people more time to focus on work that actually requires judgment, creativity, and decision-making.

5 . Zoho Training and Capability Development

Technology adoption does not succeed if people don't understand the systems they are expected to use.

Our training programs are designed to help teams develop confidence and ownership around their Zoho environment.

I want our clients to become capable users of the systems we implement for them—not permanently dependent on an external team.

6 . Remote Internships and Learning Programs

This is one of the areas where I have personally invested a great deal of energy.

Our remote programs provide opportunities across areas including:

  • Zoho administration and implementation

  • Digital marketing and SEO

  • Business operations and automation

  • Consulting and project support

  • Technology and other professional functions

The principle is straightforward:

People learn better when they can apply what they learn.

Rather than relying only on simulated exercises, we aim to give learners exposure to real projects, professional tools, teamwork, deadlines, communication, and responsibility under appropriate mentorship.

The goal is not simply to provide an internship certificate.

It is to help someone leave the experience with greater confidence and capabilities they can actually use.

The Impact We Are Building Together

The journey so far has given us a number of milestones that I am proud of.

  • 30+ clients served across industries including manufacturing, education, food and hospitality, logistics, and professional services

  • 30+ Zoho applications implemented and supported across different business requirements

  • 80%+ reduction in manual workload achieved in several automation engagements

  • 60%+ faster issue resolution achieved in selected post-implementation support environments

  • 200,000+ internship applications processed

  • 3,500+ interns trained through our programs

  • Reach across 15+ countries

  • A network of 50+ partner organizations

Behind every number is a person, a business problem, a project, or an opportunity.

That is what makes these numbers meaningful to me.

A Few Stories I Am Proud Of

For VHS Mechatronics, we worked on creating greater visibility across the business—from enquiry through machine delivery.

Using Zoho One, we helped connect key processes and automate workflows, contributing to faster sales handling and significant time savings.

The important outcome was not simply the technology implementation.

It was creating a more connected operating environment for the business.

Our work with MTAB USA focused on transforming finance operations through Zoho Books.

By reducing manual effort and improving financial visibility, the solution helped leadership gain better access to information for monitoring cash flow and making decisions.

Indicold needed a more centralized approach to managing HR operations across multiple locations.

Using Zoho People, we helped streamline HR processes and reduce dependence on fragmented systems.

The result was not only greater visibility but also significant savings in HR team time.

NTTF

For NTTF, we worked on automating grievance management through Zoho Desk.

With a large volume of requests being handled each day, automation helped create a more structured process for tracking, assigning, and resolving issues.

These projects are reminders of why I believe technology implementation should always begin with understanding the problem.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I never wanted Abhyaz to become just another Zoho reseller.

I wanted to build an organization that could compete on technical capability and business outcomes, while also creating meaningful pathways for people to develop skills and careers.

That is why the two sides of Abhyaz matter so much to me.

For businesses, it means having a partner that is invested in understanding their processes and helping them improve over time.

For learners and aspiring professionals, it means getting an opportunity to work with real tools, real teams, and real business requirements.

And for our own team, it means continuing to learn as we work.

I believe this is where the idea of a social enterprise becomes meaningful.

Social impact does not always have to come from a separate program.

Sometimes it can come from the way the business itself is designed and operated.

From Remote Internships to a Larger Ecosystem

Our work with remote internships has also shaped how I think about opportunity.

Talent exists everywhere, but access to meaningful professional experience is not equally distributed.

Remote work can change that.

It can allow people to contribute across geographical boundaries and give organizations access to capabilities beyond their immediate location.

This connects directly with what we have explored in our earlier articles about remote internships, practical learning, and India's emerging innovation ecosystem.

For me, the larger opportunity is about creating stronger connections:

Talent with opportunity.

Learning with real work.

Technology with business problems.

Businesses with capabilities.

That is the ecosystem I want Abhyaz to continue contributing to.

What We Are Building Next

I don't think the future of work will be defined by technology alone.

It will be defined by how effectively we connect technology, people, skills, and opportunity.

Businesses will continue to adopt automation and AI.

Professionals will need to continuously develop new capabilities.

Learners will need more opportunities to gain practical experience.

And organizations will need new ways of working across geographical and organizational boundaries.

Abhyaz sits at an interesting intersection of all these changes.

We will continue helping businesses transform their operations through technology.

We will continue creating practical learning opportunities.

We will continue exploring remote and distributed models of work.

And we will continue building relationships between businesses, professionals, learners, mentors, and partners.

              Building Businesses and People, Together

I believe a successful organization should create more than revenue.

                It should create value.

                  Value for its customers.

                    Value for its people.

Value for the communities it works with.

And value that can continue to grow over time.

That is the Abhyaz I set out to build.

A business that helps other businesses work better.

A learning ecosystem that helps people become more capable.

And a social enterprise that demonstrates that business growth and social impact can move forward together.

That is what Abhyaz means to me.

                    Building businesses and people, together.
