Hi I'm Vikram Reddy PVK, I've done my 9 month internship as a Data Analyst and Team Lead in the CRM and Product Management team at Abhyaz has been a transformative experience. I worked on a range of real-time projects, giving me the opportunity to explore CRM systems, project workflows, data handling and visualization tools. Here's a reflection on the key tasks I worked on — and the lessons I’ll carry forward.
1. Zoho CRM Account Module Cleanup
One of my first responsibilities was cleaning and organizing records in Zoho CRM. This involved eliminating duplicates, fixing formatting inconsistencies, and standardizing data entries. It gave me hands-on experience with CRM best practices and taught me the importance of clean data for better decision-making.
2. Exploring & Creating Project Blueprints in Zoho Projects
I also worked on designing and implementing blueprints for project workflows in Zoho Projects. Mapping task sequences, dependencies, and automations helped me understand structured project management and workflow optimization.
3. GitHub Maintenance for MTAB Organization
I was tasked with maintaining repositories for the MTAB organization including organizing branches, ensuring version control hygiene, and improving documentation. It taught me the importance of collaborative coding practices and documentation for seamless teamwork.
4. Attendance Maintenance of Interns
I managed and tracked intern attendance records using spreadsheets and automation tools. This administrative task sharpened my attention to detail and responsibility in maintaining accurate records, which is crucial for HR and reporting processes.
5. Zoho Recruit Dashboard Maintenance
I regularly updated dashboards in Zoho Recruit to ensure HR and recruitment metrics were presented clearly. This task helped me learn how to visualize data effectively and align dashboard elements with organizational goals.
6. Data Collection on Institutes
I conducted structured research to gather and clean data on educational institutions. This task honed my ability to design collection methods, manage large datasets, and prepare actionable insights for outreach and planning.
7. Data Collection on Industry
I researched and compiled information about various industries relevant to our domain. It deepened my understanding of market trends, segmentation, and how data supports strategy development.
8. Zoho Recruit Data Cleanup – Attachments & Emails
A detailed cleanup of Zoho Recruit's attachments and email sections helped streamline the recruitment workflow. I learned to maintain digital hygiene and reduce clutter, improving usability for the entire team.
9. Use Case Diagram for Clients
Designing use case diagrams for client-specific features helped me understand requirement gathering and modeling system behavior. It developed my understanding of UML and how to visually communicate software functionalities.
10. Dashboard of Reporting Metrics for Mentors
I created custom dashboards to showcase mentor-related performance and feedback metrics. This task allowed me to convert raw data into meaningful visuals for stakeholder decision-making.
Final Thoughts
This internship wasn’t just about tasks — it was about growing professionally, understanding real-time systems, and learning to solve problems collaboratively. I'm grateful to my mentors and teammates at Abhyaz for trusting me with meaningful work and guiding me throughout my internship.
