Introduction

An internship is not just about completing tasks—it is about learning, growing, and preparing for the future. My three months at Abhyaz gave me exactly that, as I had the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical exposure. I explored tools like Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit, and Zoho Desk, which enhanced my technical skills and understanding. More importantly, this experience helped me see how data management and product management connect with real business needs, making the journey both insightful and rewarding.

At Abhyaz, I had the opportunity to try different responsibilities that helped me strengthen my skills:

  • Data Collection of Industry – Learned how to research, compile, and organize structured industry data for CRM and analytics.
  • CRM Contacts Module Cleaning – Gained experience in updating, deduplicating, and standardizing contact details for better communication.
  • CRM Potential (Deals) Data Clean-up – Practiced cleaning and enriching deal records to improve forecasting and sales process alignment.
  • Data Collection of Institute – Compiled institute details such as name, location, and contacts, and formatted them for CRM use.
  • Zoho Desk Data Clean-up – Reviewed and updated ticket fields to ensure accuracy, consistency, and process alignment.
  • Web Scraping & Lead Filtering – Explored tools and methods for extracting leads online and filtering them for targeted outreach.

Learning & Growth

The biggest takeaway from this internship has been the confidence I gained through practical experience. I became more comfortable handling data, improved my analytical thinking, and worked hands-on with CRM systems. I also realized how even small details in data management can significantly impact reporting, forecasting, and decision-making. Moreover, working within Zoho’s ecosystem provided me with valuable technical exposure that will support my future journey in data analytics, business intelligence, and product management.
