💼 My Internship Journey as a Data Analyst at Abhyaz-

My name is Shubhangi Gupta, an aspiring Data Analyst with a strong interest in understanding how data can drive smarter business decisions. What attracted me to the virtual internship at Abhyaz was its outcome-based structure and the opportunity to work hands-on with real business tools across multiple departments. I was specifically drawn to the practical exposure it offered through tools like Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory, Zoho People, Zakya ERP, and Zoho Payroll—platforms widely used in the industry today.

I saw this internship as a way to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application, and it truly lived up to that expectation. Through a series of well-defined tasks, I gained meaningful insights into business workflows, data management, and automation—skills that are essential in today’s data-driven world.

📌1. Zoho CRM: Invoice Mapping & Visualization My first assignment was with Zoho CRM, where I worked on:

Invoice mapping for tracking transaction flows

Creating data visualizations for better decision-making

This introduced me to the customer relationship lifecycle and how data insights drive business actions.

📌 2. Zoho Inventory Setup: Purchase Reports & Payment Configuration In this phase, I handled:

Setting up purchase reports

Configuring customer payment gateways

It helped me understand inventory control and financial integrations within business systems.

📌 3. Zoho People: HR Analytics & Security Management My work in Zoho People included:

Generating leave request and absence trend reports

Reviewing security access and data protection policies

Tracking e-signature usage

Creating a training feedback report

This gave me a deeper understanding of HR analytics and employee data governance.

 

📌 4. Zakya ERP Demo: Invoice Reporting In the Zakya ERP demo implementation, I:

Produced invoice summary reports

Identified unpaid and overdue invoices

This allowed me to explore how ERPs manage and automate financial reporting for operational efficiency.

📌 5. Zoho CRM : Lead Generation & Campaign Automation I expanded my CRM knowledge by working on:

Designing and running a lead generation campaign

Building a campaign dashboard

Creating web forms

Implementing a lead conversion workflow

Using marketing automation for lead qualification

This end-to-end CRM flow taught me the essentials of digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies.

📌 6. Zoho Payroll: Templates & Salary Reports In the final stage, I worked in Zoho Payroll, focusing on:

Location setup for accurate attendance and compliance

Template customization for payslips and reports

Generating payroll-related reports like:

Scheduled Earnings Report

This strengthened my understanding of how payroll systems manage salary processing, deductions, and statutory compliance.
