Introduction
Reflecting on my three-month internship at Abhyaz, I’m incredibly grateful for the skills, experience, and confidence I gained. The opportunity to work with various Zoho applications, lead teams, and contribute to real-time projects made this internship a truly transformative phase in my professional journey. Here are the key takeaways from my transformative journey.
Optimizing CRM with Data Imports and Module Cleanup – Zoho CRM
One of my main responsibilities was collecting institute data and preparing it for import into Zoho CRM. This task helped me understand data structuring and precision in CRM-based systems. I also contributed to the Module Cleanup task, where I updated crucial CRM fields like company names, customer segments, tags, and converted leads into contacts. This not only improved data integrity but also enhanced the overall usability and functionality of the CRM system.
Recruit Cleanup & Task Execution – Zoho Recruit
I worked extensively with Zoho Recruit, where I was actively involved in executing recruit-related updates and corrections to maintain accurate and relevant data in the system. In addition to performing these operational tasks, I had the opportunity to lead the Recruit Cleanup initiative, where I managed and coordinated a team of approximately 30 interns. My responsibilities included assigning daily tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring smooth and timely communication within the team. I also played a key role in onboarding and guiding new interns, helping them understand project goals, tools, and expectations. This experience significantly enhanced my skills in leadership, remote team coordination, and project management.
Final Reflections: Leadership and Learning in Action
My internship at Abhyaz helped me build a strong foundation in working with business tools, managing teams, and delivering impactful results. From working with Zoho CRM and Forms to leading a large team in Zoho Recruit, every moment contributed to my professional development.
