Greetings, everyone!

As a passionate mechatronics engineering enthusiast with a global outlook, I was thrilled to embark on an internship at Abhyaz, as a robotics engineer intern, despite the challenges of being an international intern and the virtual nature of the internship. Over the past three months, this internship has been an extraordinary learning experience, filled with challenging projects, invaluable mentorship, and a deep immersion into the cutting-edge world of robotics engineering.

 Experience at Abhyaz

During my internship, I had the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of projects that allowed me to apply my skills in robotics simulation labs. These assignments were consistently challenging, often requiring quick turnarounds, which helped me develop adaptability and a strong work ethic.

Alongside these projects, I also had the chance to familiarize myself with various tools such as Zoho Writer, Zoho Show, Zoho Sheet, Lumi, Moodle, GitHub, and Canva. These tools proved invaluable in creating, documenting, and reporting on each task. I refined my programming, academic writing, and system integration skills through these tasks, preparing me for a successful career in engineering.

Here are some of the key projects I worked on:

  1. Robotics Course Creation: I was involved in creating robotics courses using M-robot software, specifically focusing on welding robots. This project involved outlining course names and descriptions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of welding robotics concepts and techniques. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in designing educational materials and using M-robot software to simulate welding robots, enhancing my understanding of robotics programming and automation.

  1. Open-source Project: Proteus, Arduino, and various sensors to simulate an obstacle-avoiding robot. This project allowed me to apply my knowledge of hardware integration and programming to create a virtual robot capable of detecting and maneuvering around obstacles. It provided valuable insights into the challenges of real-world robotic applications and strengthened my problem-solving and simulation skills.

  2. Writing Technical and Use-Case Documents: Another significant aspect of my internship was writing technical and use-case documents for different software tools, including M-robot, CIMSIM, and ArtistoSim. These documents aimed to provide clear instructions, guidelines, and real-world application scenarios for users and developers. Through this task, I honed my technical writing skills, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and accuracy in conveying complex robotics concepts and functionalities.

In addition to my project responsibilities, I embraced the opportunity to lead the intern team for approximately two and a half months. This role presented me with the challenge of guiding and supporting new interns through their induction program. It demanded effective time management, collaboration with diverse teams and mentors, and providing guidance to incoming interns. It was a valuable experience that enhanced my communication, management, and leadership skills.

Throughout these experiences, I had the chance to refine my programming, academic writing, and system integration skills. Moreover, I honed my communication, management, and leadership abilities, which are essential qualities for a successful career in engineering. The unwavering support and mentorship I received throughout this program have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth as an engineer.

As I conclude my internship, I carry with me a newfound confidence in my capabilities and a profound appreciation for the knowledge I have gained. This experience has equipped me with the skills and expertise necessary to embark on a successful career in robotics engineering.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this exceptional internship program. Your belief in me, the challenges you presented, and the support you provided have been instrumental in shaping my journey. I am honored to have been a part of this program, and I eagerly anticipate the exciting opportunities that await me in the future.

Thank you all for your unwavering support.
