Introduction:

Myself Soumyasree Halder, I joined Abhyaz as an Electronics Engineering Intern (Remote), and completed a one-month student internship from 14 August 2023 to14 September 2023. It was a great experience, and I'm happy that I have been a part of it and learned so many things that are very much related to my domain. In this blog, I want to share the huge impact that the internship had on me and the invaluable lessons I have gained during my internship time at Abhyaz.

About Abhyaz & Team:

I have completed my internship at Abhyaz as an Electronics intern . I feel so grateful for the opportunity to work with Abhyaz . It provided real-time office experience by virtual means. Through engaging projects, collaborative learning, and the guidance of remarkable mentors, I have gained my skills and invaluable experience. My peers and team members have been very collaborative and supportive, by giving me suggestions, grading and feedback on my work. I would like to thank my mentor Tamizh sir andHarsha ma’am, who have been very helpful in guiding me throughout my internship.

How the works has been done :

As an electronics Engineering intern, I worked on various software. Each week, tasks are submitted as videos describing each slide along with H5P file describing the knowledge, skill and tool learned while doing the project, also interactive videos are submitted with the H5P file where the step by step procedure of how to work with the tools is defined. Our mentor and peers evaluated the task every Friday.

Softwares I Have used during the internship :

Project 1

For my 1st project, I used Multisim software where I made a circuit of second order differential equation solver using operational amplifier. Multisim software is a industry-standard SPICE simulation and circuit design software with an interactive schematic environment to instantly visualize and analyze electronic circuit behavior. It has desktop and online version and both are open source.

Project 2

For my 2nd outcome, I used Odoo software’s knowledge module to configure own email template for collaborate or individual use. Odoo is a ERP system which is enterprise resource planning software used company-wide for the management of business processes. Odoo Knowledge is a multipurpose productivity app that allows internal users to enrich their business knowledge base and provide individually or collaboratively gathered information. With the knowledge module you can make collabrorate library for your whole team.

Project 3

For my 3rd project, I used Google Colab and python for making your first game (Rock-Paper-Scissors).Google Colab is a free tool offered by Google Research that allows users to write and execute Python code in their web browsers. It comes preinstalled python library. Python is a  general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level , dynamically-typed and garbage-collected programming language.

Other Tools

I have worked with others software tools like Zoho WorkDrive, Workspaces, Sheets Lumi app etc.Big Blue Button was used to host daily Virtual Office, experience of the virtual office is also new to me. Along with the internship, I have also attended the webinars and competitions conducted by Abhyaz where we can havean interactive session with the speakers and pose our queries. Although I have learned technical skills, apart from that, I was able to improve my communication and presentation skills .

Summary

I have gain technical knowledge throughout my internship at Abhyaz, which are really essential for my domain, also it gives a wonderful experience how to work with virtual office and virtual teams . It helps me to improve my technical as well as communication, time management and presentation skills, which boosted my self confidence. In future if any opportunity arrives I will love to join with Abyaz again.
