Introduction
Over the past three months, my internship as an HR Executive Intern at Abhyaz has been an
incredibly enriching, hands-on journey. It provided me with the opportunity to experience
the core functions of Human Resources through a powerful mix of operational tasks,
technology-enabled processes, and creative initiatives.
My Internship Highlights
My journey began with leading orientation and induction sessions, where I welcomed new
interns and introduced them to the Abhyaz culture. This responsibility helped ensure a
smooth and positive onboarding experience for every new joiner.
One of my primary responsibilities was working on the Moodle Cloud platform, where I
supported course evaluations. This task gave me practical insights into how e-learning
systems work and how intern performance is monitored and reviewed.
I was actively involved in the recruitment process, particularly in Zoho Recruit, where I:
∙Managed the offer release process
∙Updated candidate statuses
∙Revised and streamlined email templates to ensure effective and timely hiring
communications
Using Zoho Desk, I resolved intern queries through ticketing systems—ensuring quick
responses and effective support across departments.
I also had the chance to work with Zoho Survey, where I created and distributed surveys for
intern feedback and engagement. Analyzing these responses gave me an eye-opening
experience in drawing actionable HR insights from data.
One of the key highlights of my internship was organizing peer review sessions across
various departments via Zoho Meet. These sessions were designed to recognize top-
performing interns. I further compiled the outcomes into detailed performance reports
using Zoho Writer.
Additionally, I took the lead in content creation for our internal newsletter—Abhyaz Insight.
I designed and published the newsletter for four consecutive weeks, sharing HR updates,
intern announcements, and policy highlights. This helped me develop my design, writing,
and internal communication skills.
To top it all off, I contributed to the Abhyaz Broadcast podcast series—scripting and lending
my voice to episode, giving me exposure to audio storytelling, scripting, and virtual
presentation.
