MY EXPERIENCE AS INTERN AT  ABHYAZ

Hello! My name is Roffin Joseph, and I embarked on a thrilling new journey as an Intern Mechatronics/Automation Engineer at Abhyaz on July 3, 2023. It brings me great enthusiasm to delve into the diverse world of MATLAB Technology and PLC Programming provided by Abhyaz. Adding these technical skills to my portfolio is not just a noteworthy professional milestone but a valuable asset that will propel my practical capabilities to new heights.

Abhyaz, known for its practical approach towards technical education, has served as a remarkable platform for gaining hands-on knowledge during my internship. The complex world of Mechatronics and Automation has been made approachable, thanks to the insightful mentorship I have received here. I firmly believe that the backbone of a successful internship is quality mentorship, and Abhyaz's commitment to this philosophy has undeniably enriched my learning experience.

Moreover, the camaraderie and support from my colleagues have been instrumental in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Their generosity in sharing ideas and knowledge has made my transition into this role smooth and insightful. Together, we are not just a team but a knowledge hub, constantly learning and growing, and I eagerly look forward to contributing to this dynamic ecosystem.

Navigating through the selection process at Abhyaz was a fulfilling experience. It involved a two-fold assignment designed to assess my practical understanding of Mechatronics and Automation. However, believing in the robustness of my college project, I took a leap of faith and submitted it as a testament to my capabilities.

Though tinged with a touch of apprehension about the outcome, I held on to the hope that my work would speak volumes about my potential. My concerns were unfounded, as, to my immense joy, a few days later I was greeted by an offer letter for the internship. The news filled me with a sense of accomplishment and exhilaration, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in my professional journey.

The onboarding process at Abhyaz was an experience that struck a chord with me. The company organized an in-depth session that encompassed essential areas such as recording attendance and delivering outcomes, thus setting clear expectations from the onset. These sessions were designed not only to integrate me into the organization but also to equip me with the tools necessary for success in my role.

A significant highlight of this process was the introduction to my mentors, who have since played a crucial role in shaping my internship experience. In particular, Harsha Mam has been a pillar of support. Her calming presence and patient approach have made it easy for me to approach her with any doubts or queries I have encountered. Her guidance has been invaluable in helping me fulfill my responsibilities and achieve each outcome.

In essence, Abhyaz's welcoming onboarding process ensured a smooth transition into my new role, reinforcing my belief that I had made the right choice in joining this organization.

I completed two tasks in one month of internship. I learned two software

1. MATLAB

For my first assignment, I utilized online MATLAB to complete the tasks of preprocessing and analyzing ECG signals.

2. Delta WPL Soft

In my second assignment, I used Delta WPL Soft to develop a PLC program for filling bottles.

As my maiden voyage into the world of online internships, my journey with Abhyaz has been incredibly enriching and eye-opening. This experience was pivotal in shedding light on my skill set, pushing me to tap into my potential, and revealing areas where I could further improve.

This internship underscored the significance of timeliness. It taught me the essence of meeting deadlines, not just as an individual responsibility, but as a crucial part of team dynamics. Learning to manage my tasks effectively and deliver on time was a lesson in self-discipline and an essential skill in the professional realm.

Additionally, the opportunity to assess my peers' work provided a unique perspective. It fostered an environment of mutual learning and improvement. The process of making balanced evaluations of others' work indirectly helped me enhance my own work, by incorporating observed strengths and avoiding identified pitfalls.

In summary, my overall experience at Abhyaz has been a fulfilling one, brimming with valuable lessons that have not only refined my professional competencies but also shaped my understanding of a successful work ethic in a digital landscape.
