Introduction:

This is Jenina Angelin. I joined Abhyaz as a Robotics Engineering Intern (Remote) and completed a one-month student internship from May 2023 to June 2023. It was a great experience, and I'm happy that I have been a part of it and learned a lot of things that are related to my domain. I will be sharing my experiences, addressing the skills and knowledge I gained throughout this internship, and lessons I learned along the way.

About Abhyaz & Team:

The opportunity from Abhyaz had been helpful for my internship, as it provided real-time office experience by virtual means. It has provided access to various tools and applications which can be used for various parts of data analysis and Robotics operations. For instance, Big Blue Button was used to host daily Virtual Office. My peers and team members have been very collaborative and supportive, by giving me insights, suggestions, and feedback on my work. I would like to thank my mentor Jayanthi, who has been very helpful in guiding me throughout my internship.

Hands-On Experience:

As a Robotics Engineering intern, I worked on various soft automation tools. Every week, tasks are submitted as videos along with H5P file describing the knowledge, skill and tool learned while doing the project.

The submitted tasks will be evaluated by our peers and mentor.

Software used:

1. For my first task on Machine Learning for Intelligent Systems, I used UI Path tools(Studio, Assistant and Orchestrator) and Microsoft Excel. It is an EMI Reminder Automation System which will be of high value in the current Days. UI Path is a reputed software in the Information Industry used by companies like HCL, IBM etc. . Output was verified. Email-ids with emi due dates two days away from current date and time were sent reminders.

2. For the second project, I used an ML Platform and created an Image Classification model to classify different flavours of icecream by capturing its images.

2.1. Teachable Machine is a web-based tool that makes creating machine learning models fast, easy, and accessible to everyone.

2.2. Pexels is a provider of stock photography and stock footage. It enables us to download free images as png.

2.3. Keras and Tensorflow are the tools used to build the model furthermore according to given constraints.

Professional Development:

I have worked with various tools like Zoho WorkDrive, workspaces, sheets, Zoho campaign tool, etc. Along with the internship, I have also attended the webinars and expert talks conducted by Abhyaz where we can have an interactive session with the speakers and pose our queries. Although I have learned technical skills, apart from that, I was able to improve my communication and presentation skills and learn to socialize with people.

Perks of this Internship:

I got a lot of new information about how virtual offices work. It boosted my self-confidence. My most valuable learnings are remote teamwork, time management, communication & presentation skills.
