Introduction:
I am Shruthi R from Tamil Nadu. I joined Abhyaz Internship as a Content Writer intern on 15.05.2023 and completed a two months internship from May 2023 to July 2023. It was a very beneficial internship as I learned the nuances, from Writing to publishing blogs, Technical writing and Workflow designs from my mentors. I learned about Canva and some AI Tools for writing and editing. These tools will help me in future.
I had the opportunity to work closely with the writing team and gain valuable insights into the professional writing world. It was a rewarding and educational internship that significantly contributed to my writing growth.About Abhyaz and my team:
Abhyaz Internship is my first internship as a Content/Technical Writing. It provides a real-time experience through a virtual- Big Blue Button. It felt like working in an Offline office environment. One of the standout aspects of this internship was the exceptional mentorship. My mentor Mrs Trapti Singh, Ms Saumya Tiwari and other senior interns made this journey a smooth and peaceful working place and guided me throughout all my tasks and gave inputs to make the outcomes successful.
Hands-on Experience:
During my internship, I was exposed to a wide range of writing assignments, which helped me develop versatility in my writing skills. As a Writer intern, I used many Zoho Tools like- Zoho Writer, excel, survey, work drive, site and Canva. Every week we had to submit our tasks as an H5p file in Moodle.
Works done by Me:
- I wrote 10 Blogs.
- I hosted a podcast of interactive interview.
- Prepared Interview Questions for the Next Interview.
- Was part of a survey that the MTAB conducted on behalf of an association.
- Made in the updation of the collaterals.
- Writer of the Process Documentation.
- A workflow chart was made.
Professional development:
Zoho Tools and Canva used here made me enhance my skills. As a writer, I learned new dimensions of writing- blogs, process documents, interview and workflow chart.
Perks of this internship:
Excellent place to get trained by good mentors. I learnt many things in a short period. Throughout the internship, I received constructive feedback and guidance on improving my writing skills. As industry professionals train us, it gives us immense knowledge about the industry and work culture. It improved my skill set and self-confidence to work in the industry. These opportunities for professional development helped me gain a deeper understanding of the writing industry. They equipped me with valuable tools and techniques that will benefit me in my future writing endeavours.
